Exploring New Lights

It’s a wonderful feeling when you try out something new and it turns out to be good and people love doing it too. My workshops have been a great source of motivation for me, as it has allowed me to get a first hand experience of this feeling.

Nostalgic New York

New York has to be one of the most interesting cities that I have visited so far. It has a character in itself. I had heard a lot about the city and had been wanting to visit it since a long time. In the summer of 2008, I had a chance to visit it during the Independence Day weekend.

Kolkata - a visual journey

Kolkata is a city that I just simply love. I could go on and on shooting in any part of Kolkata. However for the kind of photography that I do, I like the streets. They are always so full of character. There is never a dearth of subjects, and each one has its own characteristics. Shooting in Indian weddings are always a challenge. There are so many factors that one needs to take care of when doing so. From the light to the unwanted subjects to the excessive jewelery to the everyone wanting to be shot.
