I conducted the Basic Photography and Light Painting Workshop at Techniche, the IIT Guwahati Techno- Management Festival from September 3rd to 6th, 2009.

There were 20-25 participants in the workshop. Though it was little less than expected in terms of the participation, but the ones who attended it, had immense fun. The duration for the practicals was more and hence the students were able to explore more in their creativity.

It is always exciting to let the participants explore on their own. One of the key offerings of my workshop is the practical session, where I teach the participants how to handle a Digital SLR camera, and then have them create Light Paintings on their own. I am always surprised by the kind of creativity that they show and the compositions that they come up with.
