Ever fancied using the entire world as your canvas? Welcome to the colorful world of light painting. For the uninitiated, this is a photographic technique in which the lights sources are used as the brushes to create paintings. The camera or the light source is moved to create intricate patterns. And unlike conventional paintings you are not bound by the dimensions of the canvas.

The workshop consisted of

• Anatomy and functioning of a SLR camera
• Terminologies in photography
• Shooting in different modes and their challenges
• Playing with lights

The participants learnt the entire process of light painting right from the conception stage to the execution.
